Located on Manhattan’s iconic Restaurant Row, Palermo Argentinian Steakhouse brings the bold, fire-kissed flavors of Buenos Aires to the heart of New York City’s Theater District. Founded by Orhan Cakir (Pierre Loti) and led by Executive Chef Carlos Barroz (formerly of La Pulperia), Palermo draws inspiration from the stylish Palermo neighborhood in Argentina—renowned for its vibrant food and wine scene. Set in a beautifully restored three-story brownstone from 1894, the bi-level space delivers a warm, upscale dining experience centered on premium steaks sourced from the legendary Piccinini Brothers butcher shop.

Whether you’re savoring a perfectly grilled cut, enjoying handcrafted cocktails at the bar, or indulging in their lively bottomless brunch, Palermo offers a genuine taste of Argentina with every dish. A cozy spot for authentic Argentinian steak. Having been to Buenos Aires, I can say the flavors here are truly on point. I had the NY strip. It was massive, perfectly grilled, and full of flavor! The drinks were excellent, and the ice cream dessert was the perfect finish.

Best Argentinian restaurant in NYC! I’ve been twice and both visits were magical. The empanadas are packed with flavor, the tortilla de patatas is soft and delicious, and the milanesa and filet mignon were both incredible. Don’t skip the flan with dulce de leche, it’s unforgettable! And the staff? Absolutely top-notch. Amazing service all around.
